Fell Running



Each October Dark & White organise the annual Hope Moors & Tors Challenge for fell runners from Hope in the Dark Peak/North Derbyshire. Entrants can either opt for the classic 20 mile route which visits Mam Tor, Kinder Scout and Lose Hill or the shorter - but no less scenic - 8.5 mile "Hope Skyline" route taking in Cave Dale, Mam Tor and Hollins Cross.

In early August The Long Tour of Bradwell with its 31 mile route and 6300' of ascent is set to become another classic; starting and finishing in the Hope Valley the event is a round of the Run Further/Vasque Ultra-Running Championships.

Hallam Chase 3.25 mile Fell Race 05/06/12 - only open to members of clubs affiliated to South Yorkshire County District Athletic Association. NB - this event is not organised by Dark & White Events.
